Situated in beautiful northeastern Hunterdon County, the origins of Tewksbury Township date back to colonial times when we officially became a township on March 11, 1755
Over the years we have grown into a close-knit community of friendly residents who are passionate about protecting our quality of life, preserving our freedoms and the unique qualities that make our town so special. In addition, our community is known for its commitment to education and public safety initiatives, as well as preserving our open spaces and farmlands. Simply put, Tewksbury Township is a picturesque rural community and by all standards a success!
